In case you hadn’t noticed, things are changing around Historic Downtown Whitby. With the addition of new stylish shops and services like Mint Floral Co, Kake Kreations (Cakes and tea room), Marca Italian, Rural Reclaiming, Knitterary, B&A Vintage and more, its starting to look up in our community core.
But as much as things are moving forward, somethings haven’t changed. Things like the rich history we have right under our noses in Whitby! With so many beautiful 19th Century buildings, historic streets and character homes, Whitby has a lot to cherish and celebrate. This year, why not participate in your community and enjoy all it has to offer? Events like Heritage Day only happen when people like us take the time to show up. If we stay at home leaving it to others to support…well you do the math!
Start the season off right by coming to Historic Downtown Whitby and celebrating Heritage Day 2015! Every year there are delicious treats and snacks to munch on, petting zoo animals, face painting, live music and lots of harvest cheer. But this year we’ve got some extra special happenings to appeal to just about everyone so take a gander…
