Holiday House Tour A Success!

November 25, 2013 by michaelpenneystyle

Well I made it through the Holiday House Tour on Saturday!

It was a huge success – sold out early – and was packed with tour-goers kicking off the holiday season with cheer.  The house looked beautiful and I want to thank homeowners Jennifer and Jay and The Whitby Station Gallery for the opportunity.

And another big thank you to The Marilyn Denis Show who came out and filmed this gorgeous house for an upcoming episode of their show.  Keep your eye out for all of the Christmas decorating ideas!

Isn’t that beautiful mirror from your shop Michael??

The house looks beautiful. Seeing the wonderful wreath on the front door made me think of a question. In terms of DIY wreaths for the front door, what dimensions work best so that they are not too small but are the right size and scale for the front door. Any suggestions? I’m thinking of making a couple for my double front doors, hence my questions. Thanks.

    Michael,
If you are in this again, I am buying a ticket and coming to see your house from Smiths Falls! ;)

The house and your decor were my absolute favourite on the tour! We also stopped at your store – it is looking fabulous and is a great inspiration Michael! The snow throughout the day was certainly an added touch! You always make everything come together! Already planning my next purchases at your store….
