This week I turned thirty one. Yes, I’m getting old people! Ha ha! It does feel like I’ve crammed a lot of living and experiences into the past few years, so I’m not too worried! But if there’s anyone who’d have a quarter life crisis, it would be me because I’m constantly evaluating and re-evaluating my choices and path and trying to be most authentic and fulfilled in my life. Let’s just say that Violet is a big piece of the pie these past 5 months so that’s been a thrilling shift!
Sara and I had my brothers, sister-in-law and parents over for a birthday dinner on the weekend and I snapped a couple shots of the table for you to see.
My favourite jadeite plus rustic woven placemats, a grain sack runner and sunny blossoms in vintage bottles. What could be better?
The large pedestal was for the pizza we were serving and the blue/white speckled bowl was for the salad. I actually got that at a ‘yard sale’ at House & Home and the green recycled glasses are from Pier 1. And my favourite batik napkins are from Ten Thousand Villages.
So there you have it! Did you spy the baby swing in the background – yes we’ve got baby stuff everywhere!
