I had the great pleasure of meeting Food Network star, Anna Olson on Tuesday’s taping of The Marilyn Denis Show! It was such a thrill because as you may well remember, I always loved Olson and her shows ever since Sugar came on the air. You may want to brush up on my post about Sugar and how much I loved it here.
Anna’s TV shows like Sugar had a fresh, intelligent and oh-so-beautiful approach that I just love (and sadly is lacking in lifestyle tv these days). I loved following Sugar, then her farm stand-to-table adventures on Fresh and now her return to baking on Bake with Anna Olson. Here’s a quick snippet of Olson’s eye-catching shows – hopefully more on this to come…
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I love Anna Olson’s Sugar!
On Anna’s second show, Fresh, viewers followed along while she brought fresh farm stand items to new heights in her very own kitchen.
Anna’s kitchen had a quirky bohemian vibe with repurposed industrial items (like the old pie fridge above that was shut off and used as an open pantry). Its all housed in her gorgeous historic home.
These days you can catch Anna baking up a storm on her current Food Network show, Bake with Anna Olson. From basic to jaw-dropping, Anna whips up delicious treats and takes us along with hints and tips from a true professional.
It was so lovely to meet Anna in person – she’s as lovely off camera as she seems on her shows. Be sure to check out her new show and catch those reruns when you see them – they’re still just as wonderful today!
