Okay I spent the time I allotted to blog this morning to hanging out with Violet instead.
Time well spent I’d say. Not all blogging was lost because while we sat in the living room looking at the world and exploring all of the beautiful new-ness, I noticed that our recently opened amaryllis was a very similar shade of juicy coral to the roses I bought for Sara’s birthday this past weekend. They made a very handsome pair wouldn’t you say?
Inspiration is everywhere as I keep telling Violet…

Michael…Carol here at your bro’s work. Must tell you, I out did you on an amaryllis I grew here at work last month. It had two stalks and 8 blooms!! Congrats on beautiful new daughter and although I like “little Carol” – Violet is a beautiful name!!!

Hi , Well my goodness, so the little one is here. I haven’t received emails from your blog for quite some time and didn’t know she had arrived. Congrats. What a beautiful name. I can just picture her. Did you send out pictures of her? You must be so proud. I am a Mother of two girls and three grand daughters. They are wonderful. I am so happy for your little family.
