It’s been an exciting week here at Penney & Company but there’s no rest for the wicked and I’ve got new items to show you! A mix of old and new, large and small, these stylish staples will transform your house into a lived-in home. Take a look and feel free to call or email for information or to purchase over the phone.
First up, these graphic and gorgeous plastic placemats that can handle and spill and still look great! The glasses are wonderful for drinks, but even better as a bud vase or toothbrush holder!
Check out these stunning throws! I always go for a simple throw like these with texture so that they’re a fresh colour block on a sofa or bed and don’t compete with the cushions. Well these oh-so-soft examples are just that and come in a beautiful selection of colours from soft coral, to peacock blue, cream, greige and spring green!
If you’re looking for a way to bring some natural texture into a room that has too much wood and hard angles, consider a woven console like this. It would be perfect as a sofa table or for extra serving area in a dining room too and the grey wash is so elegant.
I am in LOVE with these chalky stoneware picture frames! They come in three different shapes and sizes and cost next to nothing. Totally chic and totally cheap! You need some of these.
If you’re like me, you’re longing for a punch of colour at this time of year. These moroccan stools are the perfect hit of fresh colour that would work well with neutrals or mixed with other colours like burnt orange and chocolate brown. Great as a small perch for your drink near a sofa or even beside a bath tub for your glass of wine or a soothing candle.
For more texture and natural warmth, you can’t beat chunky woven baskets. These ones come in lots of sizes and oval or round and would look great filled with blankets, firewood or a big potted plant!
This restored antique buffet is a stunner. It’s been completely rebuilt from it’s wobbly beginnings and the drawers and cupboards glide perfectly. It’s been refinished with layers of pale blue paint and distressed, then sanded to the smoothest finish I’ve ever come across! The cupboard doors feature reversible panels so you can choose either a decorative or more simple look. Clips on the inside of the doors make the switch easy!
This sweet little table could work as a bench at the front door (just tuck shoes beneath) or as a small coffee table.
And finally for a shot of coral or fresh blue, try these graphic chevron printed cushions! They’re a steal at $30 and come with zippers for easy maintenance. Pop a couple into the mix on your sofa or try some on your bed for a fresh uplift.

I want the antique buffet! It is beautiful! And the pricing is amazing! We need a Penney and Company in Winnipeg!
Thanks Jan! Maybe someday!! And thanks for following along! Hope your show plans are going well!
