I made it home safe and sound from Winnipeg Manitoba! The Winnipeg Kitchen Bath & Renovation Show was a ton of fun and it was great to get to see more of the country – cold though it may be! The weather was actually lovely and sunny and since my hotel was connected to the convention centre I didn’t have to trudge through much snow at all!
Speaking at the Winnipeg Kitchen Bath & Renovation Show was a blast!
And we even got to do a little poking around at Winnipeg’s Old House Revival, which is an amazing emporium of vintage architectural salvage and antiques for the home. If you live in the area, you have to go!
Of course I was oohing and ahhing all the way through the shop! I found a few goodies that would fit in my carry on and brought them back to Ontario. A gorgeous red and white quilt, a gilded letter P (for Penney!) a His and Hers set of hand towels (for our someday cottage) and a piece of cream Haegar pottery for my collection.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the show and to Jan for having me!

Great fun! You are welcome back anytime!
Thanks Jan! It was great!

Love you and your cottage decorations!
