It’s early – dark still – and I’m heading out to battle traffic to get down to the historic CTV building at 299 Queen St West in Toronto. Did you know it’s the same studio where Marilyn always filmed City Line?
Leading up to the show I almost always have to pack my car to the rafters - like I did yesterday! I had a living room chair, boxes, bags and even a 5 foot tree brushing against me while I drove!
At the studio yesterday I saw the bright, rich orange colour I selected on a large wall…bold? Yes! You never know until you see it all together.
And here’s how it looked when I left rehearsals – a fun mix of traditional and contemporary, colourful and neutral and yes orange and purple together!
Now off I go! But not before I eat my oatmeal…

What is the best way to care for the fig trees in your photo? Do “Grow lamps” help?
Ha-ha Michael! Everything squashed in the car made me giggle! I would probably not put orange and purple together but as always, whatever you do, it looks fabulous!
