Recently I had the honour of being interviewed by Barbara Matson of the West Coast design blog, Hodge Podge.
Barbara does a really fascinating section called, So Canadian Eh? where she interviews Canadian designers, bloggers and the like. She was kind enough to ask me a few questions about my journey and style and I’m happy to share my answers – and Barbara’s blog – with you here!
Enjoy and Happy Long Weekend everybody!

Fun interview. Just love your path and your desire to work close to home as well as expand your horizons.
it brought smiles to my face as I read this blog. I could hear you talking in my head from your answers for the interview! I love your design because I really think that it truly comes from who you are inside as a person with passion and loving life. Love following your work and I cannot stress enough how I wish I could take a vacation to Ontario sometime soon to visit Penney and Co. I will be driving U haul.
That is So nice Faith! I’m sure we’d be fast friends! Come by when you can – Uhaul and all!

I clicked on the other one in her Canadian series; Brian Gluckstein. I laughed when I read that he played with Lego a ton, too!
He DID?!?! Gotta check that out!

Thanks for the shout-out Michael! It was my pleasure. I too LOVED Lego as a kid, and have been buying Lego for my son {who seems to like it but not like I did} I loved creating houses and towns with what little Lego I had.
Imagine if all of the design-y kids out there got together and made a whole city? That would be amazing!!! Thanks again Barbara!

I’d love to see some pictures of your childhood creations – I bet they’d be inspiring to the kids at school!
