Transitional Day at Penney & Co…

July 10, 2012 by admin

Well as you can see, I’ve made a real mess of things…

Penney & Company at 10:25 AM Tuesday, July 10

I had the bright idea to move EVERYTHING around this weekend and it’s STILL not pulled together. What’s worse is I have my car PACKED with 19 boxes of accessories to unload and find homes for, price etc.  Oh brother!  It’s gonna be a looooong day!

You will pull this off…use your magic! So excited to see after pic….I would spend hours in there right now…lol

  2. Barbara Paul says:

Yes…you will pull this off…once it is the way you want it to look, you can stand back with satisfaction and wait for us again to come and visit your beautiful store with all the interesting pieces, large and small, in this quaint and historic location in Whitby.

Good Luck with Transitional Day, wish I was closer I would come and help…

  4. Deirdre says:

Fun to show us “before” you make magic! Looking forward to “after”.

  5. Barb says:

Think you need to expand to building next door or down the street?

  6. Linda says:

Looking forward to the ‘after’ & getting in to see the new accessories – have a good day…

  7. Sarah Dancey says:

Ooooh! Can’t wait to see the new trinkets you have! Get those boxes unpacked! LOL! Your store is always set up amazingly so it will be great! Will come by for a visit soon!

  8. It wasn’t as bad as you imagined!! Thank you for being so welcoming… and for being okay with Halle rearranging your napkins for you. If you want I can send her back over to help. :)

I am looking forward to my next visit, to view the new items. I am sure the “after” will be worth it. Edit …and create room’s as you would for a client.
Remember to have fun! I always put on a fav piece of music when rearranging.

I also have need for great pillows, Whitby is devoid of beautiful quality designer fabric pillow covers 20 x 20 inches and 22 x 16 inches that can be removed for cleaning. I love to change up my rooms in a flash for the Autumn.

  10. you can do it Michael!! 19 boxes of accessories. .. .time to come for my first visit!!

You’ll pull this off no problem, we all have faith in you! But 19 boxes of accessories sounds AMAZING! Can you post up what’s new for your store? That’ll be so fab!

  12. Heather M says:

Yes, like the other readers I’m looking forward to an ‘after’ shot. I will have to come for another visit to the store now that you are rearranging and restocking!

  13. Jennifer says:

I find sometimes you need to make a mess to recreate your store. Be patient and I’m sure you can pull it off! Then stand back and enjoy the oohs and aahs of your clients!
