Here’s a little story I created a while back at House & Home.
It’s super easy: I picked up some frames at Urban Outfitters that are meant for framing vintage record albums. They’re the perfect shape and depth for hankies! Then I just amassed a collection of vintage hankies (some from Cabaret on Queen West in Toronto) and hung them in a grid over a simple demilune console. And Voila! Give it a try!
Pretty and quaint. I will put together a small vignette in our store over a basket of hankies, that is if I can get my husband to move a clock or two. I love the collection you put together. Just beautiful. They would make great gifts as well. Nancy
This is great! I mentioned in another spot that I have a lot of vintage hankies – mostly plain with lace edges. Have been trying to dream up something to do with them – probably in my quilting!
I remember that feature from H&H! Just so you know Michael… when your name was credited to a article, I always enjoyed it.
I loved this back when you did it and I absolutely love it now. It’s so so pretty!
